Dealing with a serious illness requires a significant amount of energy, but even within hospital walls, children should still have the opportunity to be children— to play, use their imaginations, laugh, and make friends.

Maryam is currently undergoing her third course of treatment, which is progressing as planned. There are just two days left in this course, followed by a short break, and then another five days of high-dose chemotherapy.

Little Asima is back in Switzerland, and the news from the clinic is heartwarming: her condition is stable. The second month of treatment is progressing well, and the highlight of this trip is that the little girl has taken her first steps on her own, despite all the challenges she has faced

Maryam is a cheerful, kind, and remarkably wise little girl. Her family affectionately calls her Maryashka or Marishka. She loves drawing, watching cartoons—especially *Masha and the Bear*—and she dreams of the simplest and most heartwarming thing of all: becoming a mom when she grows up.
