Support the "Time to Help" direction and give the children of Kyrgyzstan a healthy future!

The Sun of Hope Public Foundation works to provide as many children as possible with good health and to ensure that every child facing a serious illness can receive efficient treatment. The Foundation permanently assists the Department of Children's Oncology and Oncohaematology of the National Centre for Maternity and Childhood Protection. The most frequent requests we receive from doctors and patients are related to the purchase of life-saving medications and payment for expensive laboratory tests. We are launching a new "Time to Help" project aimed at building long-term assistance to young patients of the National Centre for Maternal and Child Health Care. 

The objectives of the direction: 

- Purchase of life-saving medications for seriously ill children.

- Payment for expensive laboratory tests. 

In the treatment of young cancer patients, doctors have to take an individual approach to the choice of medications, as often a child has an intolerance or allergic reaction or due to their age, it is impossible to use certain drugs. Unfortunately, hospitals do not always have funding to buy expensive, effective medicines, so the choice of available medications is limited. Many families are unable to cover the necessary costs on their own. 

After chemotherapy, there is a pronounced deterioration of the whole body. Often, children have stomatitis. The medicines provided by the clinic are not always able to cope, and strong antifungal medicine is needed, which the hospital often does not have enough of. Again, the purchase falls on the shoulders of the parents of sick children, who do not always have the money for this.

In addition to the shortage of medicines, young patients need expensive diagnostics of minimal residual disease, which is not included in the list of free services. Doctors of the oncology department and patients themselves often apply to our Foundation with a request to help pay for this examination, which makes it possible to assess the effectiveness of treatment and predict the course of the disease. The analysis costs a lot, and not all patients can afford such expenses. 

We all stand in favour of systemic charity to cover a lot of people in need at once. Our goal is not only to provide targeted assistance to children but also to solve the problem qualitatively to provide long-term assistance to the hospital so that every child can receive the necessary drugs and undergo diagnostics in time. We hope that together, we can achieve great results in preserving and strengthening the health of children in our country. After all, this is the main task not only for one family but also for the whole society. Healthy children - healthy nation!
