Send help to Sun of hope PF!
Our friend and volunteer of the Foundation, 36-year-old Ruslan, climbed Lenin Peak and unwrapped the Sun of Hope flag. He dedicated his risky and extreme ascent to the boy Amir, who is bravely fighting cancer.
Friends, we invite you to contribute to our new charity project, which we have created to support seriously ill children who need to stay in hospital for long periods. Young patients especially need faith in a miracle because they often don't understand why they are in so much pain.
Recently, Tanzilya Djetisbaevna Samanchinova, deputy director for educational work at grammar school No. 26, came to our foundation. The students collected many toys for the children undergoing treatment in the children's oncology and onomatology departments. With the help of our foundation, we wanted to pass these presents to the kids at the hospital.
To this end, we organised and held a master class where the children painted amazingly bright butterflies that sat on the edge of the artistic creations of the children and even their mothers who participated in the creative task at the end of the class.
The Sun of Hope Foundation keeps supporting the National Center for Maternity and Childhood Protection. We believe that together we can save more children and help parents in difficult times when they must change their lives completely.
Today we would like to tell you a magical story that happened on New Year's Eve with one of our protégés.
Little Ahmed did not have a happy New Year's holiday this year. Since last summer, he has had to fight a terrible disease - Ewing's sarcoma, a malignant tumour of the bony skeleton that robbed him of his childhood and is now trying to take his life.
We are happy to share the news of our ward Umut Abdybekova - the baby is in remission, she has been discharged from the hospital and she and her mother have returned to their home village in the Issyk-Kul region.
The gifts for the children were bought as part of the Smile to the Sun project, which was launched to improve the quality of life of seriously ill children. Thank you to everyone who supports our charities. With your help, we give children faith in healing and a better future!
During one of our visits to the hospital, the head of the paediatric oncology department, Aikanysh Orozbekova, told us that they do not have some of the necessary medicines, including voriconazole. Our foundation decided to help the young patients in the department and brought them this antifungal drug on their next visit.
The other day little Askhat visited us. We helped him and paid for an expensive diagnosis in November. Fortunately, the tests showed that the baby had the long-awaited remission, and he and his mother could finally leave the hospital.
Our wards look at the world with their eyes wide open, regardless of illness. They believe that adults will help.
