Ariet Akimbekov

On 3 January, little Ariet will be 4 years old. Unfortunately, he will not have fun holidays and guests. He is forced to spend the New Year holidays and his holiday in a fierce fight for his life.

In August 2022, Ariet became ill - the temperature rose to 40 degrees, and he started coughing badly. We turned to doctors at the place of residence in Kara-Balty town, they took an X-ray. I was diagnosed with acute bronchitis and prescribed treatment.

"For six days my son took antibiotics but he did not get better. I was sent to the Republican Hospital where they took another X-ray and now I was already diagnosed with a thymoma. A CT scan was needed but they could not do it because of the high fever, cough and shortness of breath. For another fifteen days, my baby was treated at Children's Hospital No. 3. The shortness of breath subsided a little, and they did a CT scan. After the tomography, we were sent to the paediatric oncology department for treatment. Words cannot describe our condition at that moment. Shock, horror, fear of losing a child," recalls Ariet’s mother.

Lymphoma with damage to the l / n mediastinum - that was the current diagnosis. Unfortunately, not all the necessary medication ended up in the hospital. An expensive drug "Asparaginase" was needed for the boy's treatment. As Ariet's parents are in a difficult financial situation, the family turned to our foundation for help. We could not avoid the baby's problems, we bought vital medicine for him.
