We helped Grisha! And it was crucial to do it in time!

Our dear helpers! Again, your timely help gave us hope to continue the fight against the severe illness of our ward, 6-year-old Grisha Barinov! He was diagnosed with oncology after a summer holiday with his parents. The examination established the diagnosis - neuroepithelial neoplasm of high malignancy. But soon, it was clarified - medulloblastoma classical, subgroup WNT. Instead of school education, the child has to learn to live with this terrible diagnosis. And, most importantly, the boy tries to be stronger than the disease that fell on him! For two years of battle with a 4 cm cerebellar tumour Grisha has undergone surgery, several resuscitations, a ventriculoperitoneal shunt due to hydrocephalus, two relapses with a prognosis of complete paralysis, loss of intelligence, and passing away in 1-2 years. The boy is a true hero, not crying once, even dying in his father's arms...

Grigory began a new stage of overcoming the merciless diagnosis in the Turkish Memorial Clinic. Unfortunately, Grisha has formed a new, already one and a half centimetres. And now there is a need for an extra urgent surgery to remove the neoplasm, which you made possible!

We are grateful to all of you for not letting us give up. For doing the kindest and most important thing in the world - helping to save a child's life! The prognosis of the WNT subgroup with timely treatment is quite positive, and therefore, your help was provided in time as never before!
