Tazhibayeva Odina, the mother of Karimjonov Hamza, who was born on May 25, 2016, contacted us regarding the diagnosis ALL, Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia, Intermediate Risk Group in Bishkek. This wonderful, persevering and kind boy just needed help.

Thank you for not sitting idle!

In January 2021, the boy was playing with his older brother in the backyard, it was snowing, and his mother noticed blood coming out of his mouth and nose. It was frightening. An urgent examination revealed that his haemoglobin level was 48. The family doctor prescribed pills and entered Hamza in the registry for third-degree anaemia. An ultrasound examination of his internal organs revealed his spleen and liver were enlarged. An urgent hospitalisation in Bishkek confirmed the terrible diagnosis.

For a year and a month, her son received chemotherapy there. It turned out that Hamza was allergic to the drug "asparaginase", and the puncture after the completion of therapy was traumatic. The boy could not even sit, let alone walk, and his condition worsened because he needed a urinary catheter and neurological access.

The poor child walks with a limp and has a very poor sensation in his right leg. Because of the damaged spinal cord, punctures and administration of the chemotherapeutic drug "methotrexate" to prevent central nervous system leukaemia were discontinued. The boy was twice to Medical Park Clinic in Turkey, where he received 8 sessions of radiotherapy. Hamza also received 10 sessions of physical therapy for his right lower extremity. But unfortunately, the physical therapy did not help.

"Like any mother, I just hope for the best, I do not give up and I come to Bishkek with my son every two months to get a massage course for his leg at Dream Rehabilitation Center. My son's main disease is now in remission, we are taking Methotrexate and Puri Netol from Germany and Vitamin B12 for his legs. In the summer, when we have the opportunity, we plan to undergo another examination at the "Medical Park" to see if the condition of my son's legs has not worsened. Thank you for supporting us now, your help is so valuable and important to us!" Odina Tazhibaeva.
