Little Dair has undergone seven rounds of chemotherapy. Today, he will visit the clinic for tests before starting radiation therapy. However, every time he hears about a hospital visit, he cries and becomes frightened. His eyes are filled with tears of pain and fear. He desperately wants to play and be happy, but instead, his days are spent in a foreign country, next to a hospital bed. His thin body is exhausted from the chemotherapy, and every step he takes causes unbearable pain in his legs. His only joy comes from being close to his beloved mum, dad, and younger brother, but even that does not drown out his longing for home and a normal life.
Dair has completed his seventh course of chemotherapy, but his battle is far from over. Daily pills and painful dressings have become a part of his life. Tomorrow, on July 3rd, he will face a new challenge: radiation therapy. His body is exhausted, and he hardly eats anything; only potato soup reminds him of what food once tasted like.
“He is so tired, but he continues to fight because every day brings a chance for remission and recovery,” says Dair's mother.
How can anyone remain indifferent to the suffering of this defenceless child? Dair dreams of returning home, of forgetting the pain, the hospitals, and the fear. He wants to run, laugh, and live a full life, but he cannot achieve this without our help. Dair needs a bone marrow transplant, and the sooner we act, the better his chances for recovery.
We can provide Dair with hope and an opportunity for a life free from suffering. Right now, he needs all of us! Your contribution is not just a donation; it is an important investment in his future and a chance to see his happy smile again. Don’t wait! Every donation, no matter how small, can make a significant difference in his fight for life. Please donate now and help Dair survive!
