The young hero has recently completed his final course of radiotherapy. He is currently staying at a hotel with his parents to regain his strength before an important milestone: his examinations and tests, which begin today.
The treatment was not easy for Dair. He completely lost his appetite and became very weak, experiencing particularly distressing pain in his legs. However, despite the challenges, the little boy bravely endured each procedure, arriving at the hospital every day hand in hand with his father.
"When it all began, Dair felt frightened, especially during his first radiation sessions. He was particularly afraid of the mask placed on him during the procedure. The doctors found a clever way to reassure him: they told him that with the mask on, he looked like Spider-Man. This helped ease his fear, and the boy agreed to lie still even without anaesthesia," shares the boy's mother.
Dair has already completed seven courses of chemotherapy and one course of radiation therapy. He now faces new tests and potentially another round of treatment. His parents are anxiously awaiting the results and dreaming of the day when Dair can return home, hug his little sister, and laugh like he used to.
You can help give Dair the chance for a carefree childhood and a joyful return home.
