On April 10-11, Warsaw hosted the regional meeting of the St. Jude Global Alliance EURO, which brought together representatives from over 25 countries, including Kyrgyzstan.
The Sun of Hope Foundation participated in this significant event, where doctors, experts, and representatives of patient organisations discussed key challenges in treating childhood cancer. They exchanged experiences and outlined ways to enhance cooperation at the regional level.
The meeting also featured a tour of the Children’s Haematology and Oncology Clinic at Warsaw Medical University. Participants observed how treatment, family support, and the efforts of a multidisciplinary team are organised in one of the region's leading medical institutions.
These meetings serve not only as a platform for sharing knowledge but also as an opportunity to build strong partnerships. Together, we are exploring new approaches to make care for children with cancer more accessible, effective, and timely.
The St. Jude Global Alliance unites professionals and organisations worldwide to ensure that every child has the opportunity for recovery, regardless of where they were born.
We are thankful for the chance to be part of this community and look forward to continuing our collaborative efforts to improve the lives and health of children everywhere.
