Maryam is a cheerful, kind, and remarkably wise little girl. Her family affectionately calls her Maryashka or Marishka. She loves drawing, watching cartoons—especially *Masha and the Bear*—and she dreams of the simplest and most heartwarming thing of all: becoming a mom when she grows up.
Right now, however, she is spending her childhood in a hospital ward. Maryam is battling a serious condition: acute leukaemia (blood cancer). Every day for her involves drips, tests, and painful procedures. Despite her fear and pain, she remains incredibly brave.
Today, on her birthday, what Maryam needs most is not presents, but a chance at life and good health. She is currently undergoing treatment, and her family needs assistance to cover the costs of the necessary therapy.
Let’s come together to give Maryam the most important gift of all: the opportunity to recover and return to a normal childhood. This means being able to play with her brother and sister, enjoy storybooks, and return to her own home.
Every bit of help counts. Even a small act of kindness can bring us closer to the day when Maryam can simply be a child again. Please support Maryam and share her story.
On her birthday, may as many kind hearts as possible be by her side.
May your homes always be filled with peace, prosperity, good health and the warmth of your family and friends. May this joyful festival fill your hearts with kindness, compassion and gratitude.
