Daniel's mother hasn't been in touch for a long time, which has caused us to worry. Unfortunately, our concerns have proven valid. The treatment has changed, and Daniel is now having a much tougher time tolerating the chemotherapy. He has been suffering from severe nausea for over a week and hasn't been eating. He can keep down only milk and cocoa, but even those he consumes very rarely.
His mother is fighting for her son alone, as his father is not involved in Daniel's life, either financially or emotionally. It’s as if he doesn’t exist. Treatment is very costly, and they have no one to earn money for it. We ask you to respond to this situation and help in any way you can!
Latest News:
The weather in Turkey is getting colder, and Daniel and his mother, Diana, have caught a cold. After undergoing chemotherapy, Daniel's white blood cell count is at zero, leaving his immune system extremely weakened. Despite the hospital continuously transfusing him with white blood cells, he quickly developed an infection. Tests revealed that his blood levels of CRP (C-reactive protein) were severely elevated. Following a consultation with the doctor and further testing, it was discovered that the SRB (sedimentation rate) did not decrease even after a course of antibiotics. Consequently, the doctor prescribed a new medication, as it is likely that the cold has worsened his condition.
Daniel continues to take antibacterial medication and neuroleptics, which adds up to a lot of pills. He refuses to eat and often vomits even at the smell of food. Sometimes, he vomits after meals as well. To prepare food, Mum has to close all the doors and thoroughly ventilate the room.
This situation is extremely challenging for both Mum and Daniel, but they are determined not to give up. Diane is doing her best to keep her son alive, but she cannot do it alone. Please don't look away! Do your best to help save Daniel!
