Hello. My name is Dina Makarenko. I am the director of the Sun of Hope Public Foundation.
The scientific fact is that when we give to others, we increase our sense of happiness. I really enjoy helping others. That's probably, why I ended up in charity. It is impossible to express feelings when a child receives the necessary treatment or medication with your help. When the fundraising for the treatment is complete, I call the child's parents and say the beloved words, "Your fundraising is complete. Congratulations!" At such moments, I feel true happiness.
Injustice and inequality are pervasive, so people have learned to ignore them. But if everyone does something nice for at least one person in need, the world will become kinder and more humane. There will be less injustice and more children's laughter in homes. I do hope that we can achieve great things together.
The words of the French philosopher and educator Denis Diderot "The happiest man is the one who makes the greatest number of people happy"- are my motto in life. And I am glad that, as the Sun of Hope Foundation director, I have the opportunity to help those who desperately need help!
Let's create our good history together and give children a healthy future!
