The youngest son of a large family is battling a deadly disease. His parents have sold everything they could, but unfortunately, the treatment did not help. Turkish doctors have taken on the task of saving his life, but the family has run out of money to pay for the medical care.
Baby Myrza was born into an ordinary Kazakh family. He brought joy to his parents, and his health was not a cause for concern. Myrza's favourite toys were cars, and he also enjoyed climbing and being active. He especially admired the character Spider-Man, but now he is facing his personal heroic battle against destiny.
Since July 2022, he has been getting very sick. The child has been complaining of headaches, nausea, and vomiting.
In Atyrau, Myrza had a CT scan, which revealed a large brain tumour, but it was not clear what kind of tumour the child had.
A three-year-old child underwent emergency bypass surgery to remove a large amount of accumulated fluid. Following the surgery, the child was transferred to the neurosurgical centre in Astana. In August 2022, the child underwent surgery to remove a tumour, but it couldn't be fully removed due to the risk of brain damage. As a result, the child couldn’t stand and had to receive food through a tube. A biopsy revealed a diagnosis of 4th-degree Medulloblastoma, a form of brain cancer.
After receiving treatment for a year at the Raevskiy clinic in Astana in 2023, Myrza's condition worsened, and the tumour continued to grow. In March-April 2023, Myrza developed bilateral pneumonia and experienced difficulty breathing on his own, with his oxygen saturation levels dropping to 40%. As a result, he was hospitalised in Almaty and underwent a tracheostomy. In late July 2023, he underwent surgery to remove a brain tumour in the posterior cranial fossa. Following the surgery, Myrza underwent chemotherapy at the Scientific Centre for Paediatrics and Children's Surgery cancer clinic until May 2024.
However, the results of a recent scan taken at the SCPCS showed that metastases had spread to the boy's spinal cord.
The last hope of Myrza's parents was to undergo treatment and surgery at a Turkish clinic. The baby has been there since June 2024.
Myrza's family has multiple children, with the youngest being a five-year-old. He has an older brother and two sisters. Due to their son's illness, his parents had to sell their house and car to fund his treatment. However, they've only managed to raise one-fourth of the required sum for the treatment in Turkey. They have no other means to gather the necessary funds, and it's vital to do so to save the child.
This money is the price of saving their son! Is there anything more important than saving a human or a child's life?
The boy's fellow countrymen are anxious about his destiny and are supporting his family. They have held football and volleyball competitions, concerts, and challenges to fundraise for Myrza's treatment. However, the amount needed to save a child with cancer is still quite large.
Please help us raise funds for Myrza's treatment! The Almighty will not ignore this good deed. Your generosity will be a blessing from above and will help Myrza's family to save the life of their beloved son. Your participation will also help fulfil this good deed. May the hand of the giver not be poor! Let's save the boy because what one cannot do alone, we can do together.
