Diagnosis: Acute lymphoblastic leukaemia (Cancer). A high-risk group.
Needed: Diagnosis of minimal residual disease of acute leukaemia in the laboratory "Hemotest".
An outgoing and friendly boy, Sherzod is the department's favourite. Now he is undergoing the most complicated treatment at the National Center for Maternal and Child Welfare. The 3-year-old boy has acute lymphoblastic leukaemia, a blood cancer. Despite his serious illness, he does not lose heart and believes that he will soon beat insidious cancer and return home!
In the fall of 2021, the baby began to go to kindergarten. He loved his friends and classes, always prepared for matinees with joy and taught poetry. In his free time, he went for walks with his sisters, loved to dance and read books. It seemed that this was true happiness that would last forever! But when Sherzod got sick in March of this year, he became very pale and developed a fever. He was treated for a cold. But the boy did not get better. We decided to do tests, which turned out to be unsatisfactory: platelets were low, and haemoglobin - was 58.
We were treated at the city hospital, and the doctors suspected leukaemia in Sherzod. We were referred for a consultation with a haematologist. The diagnosis was "acute lymphoblastic leukaemia." They sent us to an oncologist in Bishkek. Sherzod is currently undergoing high-dose chemotherapy at high risk. During this, the son's platelet and haemoglobin levels decrease, so you need to perform a blood transfusion. To correct the treatment plan, we had to have an expensive diagnosis. Thanks to the "Sun of Hope" Foundation, which helped us pay for this examination. We could not have done it ourselves", - says Mahfouz, Sherzod's mother, full of gratitude.
Despite his young age, the boy understands everything. When she sees her mother crying, she pats her head and tells her never to cry and always to smile. Sherzod has a dream - he wants to grow up, buy a big car, organise a trip for his mother and give her a huge bouquet of roses. We hope that he will soon beat the disease and will be able to return home. We wish him good health, strength and only a happy childhood!
