9-year-old David smiles humbly and talks about his dreams. He says he can't be sick because he has so many plans - the boy wants to become a traveller and go around the world. But his days have been spent in a hospital ward fighting for life for the past year. He can't even walk because terrible cancer has destroyed the heel bone in his left foot. The disease that started as a covid has grown into a deadly cancer.

A year ago, David often complained of pain in his left ankle. Doctors suspected reactive arthritis, but the diagnosis was not confirmed. In autumn, the pain moved to the left upper part of his jaw. The dentists found a cyst and took a histology test. The results shocked the family... The child, who practically had never been ill, was suddenly diagnosed with cancer, lymphoblastic lymphoma!

When David heard his diagnosis, he cried a lot, knowing that people were dying from this disease. Unfortunately, it took too long to get a correct diagnosis. There were many treatments, numerous assumptions, and even a cast was put on his leg. Time was running out, and the cancer was furious.

Fortunately for the family, doctors from Turkey responded to their cry for help. The Kolesnikovs had enough money to undergo examinations and start treatment. Unfortunately, the parents did not have enough money for the complete course. David prayed every day that there would be kind people who would help him. His prayers were answered, and people with open hearts united around his story. We are happy that the story of David has found a response among our helpers and volunteers. Thank you, our dear friends!

Friends, you save not only a child's life but also give hope to a whole family, make the world a kinder place and inspire people with faith. In such difficult moments, simple human attention and a desire to help are most valuable. Peace and kindness to you, people who care!
