Eva Khlus

Eva was only 3 months old when the disease burst into her childish world of serene happiness. The doctors could not find the real reason for her illness for several months.  

It all started when Eva's nose became inflamed on the left side. We went to the doctor, diagnosed a furuncle, and treated with antibiotics and compresses of Vishnevsky ointment. But the baby only got worse. They made an incision, but the drainage did not release anything. Theу changed the diagnosis to "dermoid cyst". A new treatment was prescribed, which did not help either, and the lump kept growing. Because of Eva's age, local doctors did not dare to operate. 

Salvation came from the Sheba Clinic, Israeli doctors were able to find an effective treatment for the little girl, but the cancer was suppressed. Mum and daughter were about to go home, but a relapse occurred. 

Alveolar rhabdomyosarcoma is a very aggressive type of cancer. The shock was even worse. The difficulty was again Eva's age. Not all babies are suited to standardised treatment protocols. Tiny bodies can't handle the pressure. That's why doctors constantly have to adjust the therapy plan.

The girl's parents had no money to continue treatment. They appealed to people who cared again. Incredible Eva was able to unite around herself as a great kind force.
