Masha has a rare type of children's leukaemia - acute myeloid monoblastic leukaemia, known for its aggressive progression. When the critical moment in the treatment came, you did not leave the girl in trouble and gave a helping hand. We are very grateful to you!

Masha became ill in the late summer of 2021. At first, she was misdiagnosed with Juvenile Myelomonocytic Leukaemia. The disease was rapidly devouring the little girl, and she was fading rapidly. Doctors agreed that only a bone marrow transplant could save Maria. Her relatives were not suitable for the role of a donor, and no suitable donor was found in the Russian registry.

When no treatment was left in her home country, the University Clinic of Freiburg (Germany) responded. The parents tried to raise the necessary funds as soon as possible. At that time, Masha's condition worsened every day - the puncture showed 90% blasts. A course of high-dose chemotherapy, 20 days of intensive care, life on the edge - all this was experienced by the little girl. As soon as the doctors stabilised the little girl's condition, the mother and her daughter left for treatment in Germany. Additional tests at the University Clinic showed that the diagnosis was wrong. Masha had one of the most aggressive leukaemias - Acute Myeloblastic Leukaemia.

In April 2022, Masha underwent a bone marrow transplant. It seemed that victory was close at hand, but 40 days after the transplant, examinations showed that the cancer remained. The doctors had to adjust the treatment plan and add the introduction of donor T-lymphocytes. Sadly, the new protocol led to a change in the bill. The parents did not have enough money. Thanks to the help of not indifferent people and our helpers, Masha's treatment will not be interrupted.

The therapy is working. The leukaemia test came back negative. But the treatment protocol must be completed. Only in this case, we can hope for a long remission. Masha has travelled the most challenging road to survival. She is on her way to a healthy life. Thank you for finding the opportunity to help Maria.

"It's hard for us, but we are happy because Masha is living. I tell my daughter every day how strong and kind she is and how many people help her daily. Thank you, our dear friends, for every day of my daughter's life!" - Tatyana, Masha's mum, sends her words of gratitude.

We are happy that we are surrounded by such amazing people for whom there is no one else's grief. Thank you for your mercy and your kind hearts!
