Alia was cheerful and happy from birth. Before her illness she was never sad, she was always smiling and happy every day. But in the spring of 2022, everything changed. She began to complain often about her lack of strength, her temperature rose for no reason, and bruises appeared all over her body.
The parents raised the alarm and took their daughter to the hospital. A general blood test revealed a decrease in haemoglobin. Doctors suspected something was wrong and sent Alia to the pediatric oncology department. After a bone marrow puncture, the family received a terrible diagnosis: acute lymphoblastic leukaemia, a blood cancer. By this time, the girl had already lost a lot of weight and was weakened; all that was left of the former Alia were bright eyes.
Alyusha underwent extremely difficult treatment. The doctors managed to achieve remission. But to completely defeat cancer, the treatment should be completed. To control the result of the therapy, the girl had to undergo an expensive analysis. The parents turned to our foundation seeking help. With your help, we covered the costs of Alia's examination. We hope that very soon she will be able to achieve the main victory over the terrible disease and return home!
Alia is a very artistic girl. Since childhood, she loves to act and play different roles. She knows her favourite cartoon "The Little Mermaid" by heart. Maybe one day the girl will become a famous actress or singer. We wish her only a happy future and only a healthy life!
Dina Makarenko actively participated in the event. "I have high hopes that by collaborating with like-minded individuals, we will be more effective in the fight against cancer and will be able to save more children's lives from this terrible, deadly disease.
