No sooner had Jamilya been discharged from the clinic than she found herself there again. The girl's toe became very inflamed. Now, the doctors are figuring out what happened. "We took an X-ray and visited a podologist. The doctor says the old nail plate has died off, and a new one is growing. An abscess has formed. We started Jamilya on antibiotics to prevent infection. She's had all her labs, chest and lumbar MRIs. Blood counts are low, and MRI results will come in 3-4 days. The doctor wants to do a PET/CT right away. I am frightened because, according to the plan, the check-up was to be a little later than the last chemotherapy.
It is terrible to be left without treatment now. Please support my daughter!" - Jamilya's mum appeals to everyone.
Jamilya fell ill in the spring of 2022. The girl was taken to hospital with suspected appendicitis. The examination shocked the family - they found a giant liver tumour. They diagnosed her with liver sarcoma. A biopsy and surgery were performed, and 75% of the liver was removed along with the tumour. At home, they did not know how to treat Jamilya. Her parents turned to Medipol Mega Hospital in Istanbul for help. New examinations helped to clarify the diagnosis - it was not sarcoma but Hepatoblastoma. Chemotherapy helped to achieve remission. Unfortunately, in February this year, there was a relapse - the metastases had invaded vital organs.
Cancer has become more aggressive and is difficult to treat. Only timely medical help and daily monitoring of her condition help the girl fight. Unfortunately, it costs a lot of money to save Jamilya. Please help Jamilya to live without pain
