“The Sun of Hope” smiled on little Camila!

18.07.2023 13:00

Her mum, Kanykei Janyshova, came to us for help in examining her two-year-old daughter Kamila. The little girl needed an MRI and CT scan at the Cortex Neurological Centre. The girl at her age underwent 24 chemotherapy treatments for seven months before remission and again after a relapse in 2022. It has given the desired results, but she has to undergo check-ups every three months to monitor her condition.

Kamila's diagnosis is almost unique for Kyrgyzstan - mono systematic Langerhans cell histiocytosis. It is the second case out of two recorded in the country. Kamila was not diagnosed immediately when the girl had lost all her fingernails and teeth and was covered with horrifying rashes.

The sick little girl is undergoing consultations at the Dmitry Rogachev Medical Centre in Moscow, and her mother is keeping a special diet for her. Now, thanks to the Foundation's help and the help of all concerned and kind people, Kamila underwent another in-depth examination, which confirmed the correctness of all the efforts made by the doctors and the girl's mother to put her into a stable remission. And this is the best of all wishes that all parents of oncological children and their treating doctors say to each other! May it always be so! We wish Kamila the most reliable recovery, and on behalf of the Foundation, we sincerely thank everyone who helped this little girl and did such a big and important thing for her health! Thank you!
