Dear friends, our best helpers in the world, thank you for supporting our projects. With your help, we help seriously ill children who need urgent treatment.
2-year-old Aidar was always a happy and cheerful child, he loved active games. But last fall a terrible illness broke into his life, and now the boy spends all his days in the infirmary. He is exhausted and dreams of only one thing - to recover.
"In September, Aydar underwent surgery in Jalal-Abad, his son had testicular torsion. After the operation, an ultrasound examination had to be performed. During the examination, a tumour was accidentally discovered in the kidney. He was immediately referred to the National Center for Oncology in Bishkek. There, an MRI scan was performed and a histological examination was performed. Aidar was diagnosed with embryonal rhabdomyosarcoma. This news came like a thunderclap out of the blue," says Elina, Aydar's mother.
The boy has already undergone several treatments. But the therapy was in danger of failing, and an expensive drug was needed. The parents turned to our fund seeking help. As part of the "For Life" program, we helped a family to buy urgently needed medication. Aidar was able to continue treatment.
"With your help, our son's treatment continues. Aidar is slowly recovering, he is smiling and playing more often again. We pray to God, wait and hope that our boy will get well soon. Thank you very much to everyone who supports the public fund "Sun of Hope". You give despairing families hope - to cure their children," Aydar's parents thank you.
We join these words of gratitude. Without your support, our fund would not exist. Thank you for staying with us and helping save children's lives!
May this time offer chances to reflect on the past and look to the future. The future belongs to our descendants, our children, and we can trust them! However, they need our support.
