The mother of 10-year-old Jamilya has contacted us. Her daughter has relapsed liver cancer, hepatoblastoma. The treatment costs a lot of money, and the family cannot afford to pay for the expensive treatment. We couldn't pass by this tragedy. We hope that together with you, we can give a helping hand to this family and save the life of a child.
Jamilya was nine years old when the terrible diagnosis of Sarcoma of the liver came into her life. During the urgent surgery, the girl had the tumour removed from 3/4 of her liver. They sent the cells to a clinic for analysis. The arduous chemotherapy treatment didn't finish until the autumn of 2022. But in the winter of 2023, the deadly cancer struck again. A recurrence! Check-ups showed metastases to the left tibia, metastases to the L1 and L2 vertebral discs, the right pubic process, the left iliac bone, and the surrounding soft tissue.
Doctors at Medipol Mega Hospitals Group in Istanbul, Turkey, took on the task of saving Jamilya's life. They administered immediate anaesthesia and radiotherapy and prescribed six sessions of chemotherapy. To date, she has had five courses of chemotherapy. The parents have no money for the whole course of treatment.
"It is hard to see my daughter suffering. I have no money to pay for life-saving treatment. Only faith in the Almighty and good people help us live every day with the hope that we will make it. I can hardly imagine if we do not pay the clinic bill soon, my little girl Jamilya will remain without treatment. Please help us, I'm begging you!" - Jamilya's mother appeals to everyone.
Unfortunately, the cancer is an aggressive disease, which leaves no time to wait and does not allow her to undergo treatment. Time is the main enemy of Jamilya too. If postponing the therapy now, the deadly tumour will take over the girl entirely and take her life.
Please help little Jamilya to survive and defeat Cancer!
May this time offer chances to reflect on the past and look to the future. The future belongs to our descendants, our children, and we can trust them! However, they need our support.
