Jamilya Khassenova's fundraising is on fire. The treatment will be cancelled for lack of money.
"What's all this for?" - 10-year-old Jamilya whispers when she is in a lot of pain. At ten years old, this is her second time fighting for her life. The insidious disease has pulled back, only to return. It has relapsed. This time, the cancer has put its claws into the bones of the child's body. An emergency collection is the only hope for continued treatment!
Jamilya was nine years old when she was diagnosed with liver sarcoma. Along with the tumour, they removed ¾ of her liver. An additional analysis in a Turkish hospital showed that the girl had a different form of liver cancer - hepatoblastoma. Timely corrected treatment helped to suppress the disease, and the long-awaited remission came. But it was only a lull.
In February this year, the cancer again made itself known. Relapse, and metastases in the left knee and thigh. Her parents brought their daughter to Medipol Mega Hospitals Group. Jamilya was in great pain. She could not walk and had to move around in a wheelchair. The girl was put on treatment. Several courses of chemotherapy are behind her, and now she is undergoing a period of radiation therapy. Doctors admit that they have not met such a stable hepatoblastoma in childhood. Therefore, it is crucial to continue treatment to suppress the cancer in time.
The doctors' prognosis is encouraging, and Jamiliya's further treatment programme has been drawn up. But the family has no money to pay the exorbitant bills. Help Jamiliya. She desperately needs your support.
Currently, Ayazhan is gradually working on developing her knee joint. She has achieved a 60% bend, but at least 90% is needed for effective walking. On Monday, Ayazhan was taken to Astana for chemotherapy. The tests sent to South Korea by her treating doctor have returned satisfactory results.
