Today, we have a special announcement! Aslan Azheipov's mother has created a heartfelt video expressing her gratitude to all of you. Thanks to your support, faith, and kindness, Aslan has been able to continue his treatment.
Aslan was once an ordinary, cheerful child until disaster struck their family: a devastating diagnosis of acute myeloblastic leukaemia. The initial chemotherapy in Kazakhstan led to severe complications, and treatment in Turkey did not provide the stability they hoped for. It was only in Israel, at the "Ihilov" clinic, that they found a donor and were able to perform a vital bone marrow transplant. However, this led to another challenging journey—the post-transplant period. During this challenging time, your support was vital for Aslan's treatment. Thank you!
Aslanchik is doing better now. He has started taking formula feeding and may soon come off the drip. We are currently awaiting the results of the bronchoscopy, and we believe that the worst is over.
Aslan's mom especially thanked Dina Makarenko, the Head of the Foundation. We wholeheartedly echo her gratitude. Dina cares deeply for every child and every story. In charity, there are no random individuals; only warm, caring hearts can truly save lives.
A wonderfully warm and united audience gathered around the Sun of Hope. While Aslan still has a long journey ahead, he is not alone. He is sure to have a childhood filled with walks, sunshine, and joy. Thank you, dear friends, for every repost, donation, and prayer. You are our strength. We stand together when it truly matters.
Today, on May 9th, we remember and honour the victims of war and pay tribute to the courage, dignity, and strength of our heroes.
