Cancer has reactivated again. Immunotherapy helped Milana, and the girl survived for over a year and a half without chemotherapy. But now they are changing the treatment to immunochemotherapy again, for which her mum has no money. Milana and her mum have been fighting the deadly cancer for over 4.5 years. They don't know where or who to ask for help to ensure they are not denied life-saving treatment. Please help Milana!
Milana Dereberya, 12 years old
Diagnosis: Cancer. Neuroblastoma of retroperitoneum, recurrence.
Collection: Treatment at the Hospital San Juan de Deu, Barcelona, Spain.
Amount raised: $20,000
"Milana is very upset and can't understand why this is happening to her. A new treatment is needed. Again I am crying next to her. I need to search for money. A lot of money! The bill's gone up. The treatment is expensive. There is no such thing in our country. It's one thing to be told: "Here's the treatment which helps, please come". It's another when there is a treatment, but it costs millions. This despair cannot be conveyed in words... There is no money for immunochemotherapy. That's why we've only started chemo so far. Milana's having a hard time. She's not eating anything. Nausea, constant vomiting. She can only lie there and cry. It's distressing. The cancer will take my little girl if we don't treat her completely. Help us, please. I am desperate!" - Milana's mum appeals to everyone.
It is scary and worrying for Milana's future. If the girl is left untreated now, she will burn in a few days. Mila can be saved only by uniting. Only then she can get life-saving treatment.
Don't leave Milana in trouble. Please, help!
