Today is World Candy Day. It would be great if childhood consisted of bright colours, happy memories, candy and holidays. But we know that many children worldwide have illnesses, hospital rooms and sadness about when and how it will all end instead of a happy childhood, candies and joy. Today, we call on you to support children who suffer from severe illnesses and help them return to childhood. A childhood that most of them are not even familiar with because of their illnesses. They need you now!
Let childhood be happy, and all children sometimes eat sweets, not only specific medical food.
Let's close the fundraising by giving virtual candy to the Children's Oncology Department patients of the National Centre for Maternal and Child Health. This way, they can receive support from the Sunny Meals programme. We have already closed 75% of the fundraising and will buy specialised food soon. To make it happen and the children don't have to wait, let's push on and close the fundraising quickly. Take part in this campaign! By supporting the project, you will help the children a lot.
Your donations to the programme can be anything, for example:
$1 for a lollipop,
$2 for a caramel,
$10 for a chocolate bar
They will eat them when they get better. And with the money raised, we will buy medical food at the request of the head of the department.
The Sunny Nutrition Charity provides medical nutrition to children who can’t eat regular food due to their diagnosis or aggressive therapy.
