There is so much pain in the eyes of 3-year-old Nurlan, whose name means "a lion giving light and fighting for life"! He is a very kind and sweet boy who loves people and life from the bottom of his heart. But his little heart is in big trouble and can stop any time! Nurlan needs your help! 

Heart defects and anomalies have been with him all his life since the moment he was born. After birth, it was only by a miracle that his tiny heart did not stop. Doctors operated on it almost immediately. Then, at only six months of age, the poor baby underwent another operation. The baby has been clinging to life with incredible efforts since birth. Now Nurlan is facing the last surgery that will save his life! Please don't abandon him!

A congenital heart defect and a double vessel branching from the right ventricle threaten Nurlan's life. If only we could save him in time! In this situation, everything for the boy depends on kind people. And he believes and expects that they will not betray him. Little Nurlan is now 3.5 years old. During such a small period, he has undergone three heavy open-heart surgeries. 

Mum remembers every moment in bitter detail. How he was lying alone in the ICU playing with a medical glove, and mum wasn't even allowed to hold him in her arms and comfort him. And how he was all wired up and sobbing inconsolably and choked to death over and over again. And Mum's heart broke and ached with him..... 

Hopes and chances were not given for a long time, but in March 2022, local cardiologists reported a possibility of radical correction of the malformation. But the life-saving operation was not performed at home, and the family had to go to Germany for hope. Thanks to the help of the concerned people, they managed to pay for the first stage of correction in September 2022 - Nurlan was operated in a specialised clinic in Berlin. Nurlan underwent a complex surgery, which lasted 9 hours. Recovery took several months under constant supervision. Unfortunately, after previous operations, the left ventricle became too small (due to dysfunction) and could not immediately bear the load of switching the main vessels. Therefore, doctors had to divide Nurlan's rescue into two stages. Ahead is the final part, for which the family already has no money. 

The boy dreams of living, running, frolicking, cycling, playing on the playground and not suffocating anymore! Because of his illness, he has had to love quiet games, colouring, plasticine modelling and applique. However, he would like to ride a bicycle and run with his friends in a race. But, alas, all these childhood joys are closed for him. His exhausted heart is working at the limit of its capacity and can not withstand such loads. His life is medication by the clock and the inability to walk even much. His legs and arms are getting cold, his lips are turning blue, and his mum is endlessly terrified again and again.

"My beloved baby is in mortal danger! And the price of his life we cannot pay. All we have is a small one-room flat. But even its value will not cover half of the cost of the operation. But my Nurlan can't survive without the operation. I'm writing this, and tears are rolling down my eyes. I don't know how to ask. But we need your help. One day, Nurlan will grow up and be healthy, and we will tell him the whole story about the path we have overcome. About how people from all over the world helped us. Relatives, friends and people who don't know us and yet want to help us so much. While he doesn't understand anything, we - his parents - do.
