Little Asadiya is starting a new chapter in her fight against cancer: the 4th course of chemotherapy. There are no more funds to cover it. Fundraising is urgent because the little one's organism is weak and fighting from the last strength. The family is begging for help!
Asadiya Makhanova
Diagnosis: blood cancer. Acute lymphoblastic leukaemia.
Needed: Treatment in Severance Clinic in Seoul (South Korea).
The fundraising amount: $10,500.
The cancer started with a high fever. Asadiya was soon in intensive care, where she received blood transfusions. A puncture confirmed the suspicion of acute leukaemia. Before the family's eyes, a child with a similar story died. They could not wait, the baby was admitted to Severance Hospital in Seoul, and the diagnosis was confirmed: acute lymphoblastic leukaemia. After 3 courses of chemo, Asadia was released home to recover. In a fortnight, they got a little weaned from the hospital, but the lack of hair and the medication did not let them forget the terrible things. Every day, she has to take pills to support the liver and pancreas, for protection during chemo and antibiotics for viral diseases.
The poor girl suffers from nightmares. She can wake up in the middle of the night and cry for hours. Because of insomnia, the baby does not sleep until 5-6 am. She cries for no reason (the effects of chemopreparations). This is morally difficult for everyone. We have to gather strength and endure. The treatment helps her, but the disease has exhausted the little girl...
Parents are worried about Asadiya and miss their children who stayed in their homeland. They want the nightmare of fighting oncology to end soon, to save their daughter, and to return home. The family is hanging on from their last strength and is grateful for everyone's support. They are invaluable to the family. Money is running out, and there is no money to pay the clinic's bills... Little Asadia needs your support!
"We are still asking for your help! Our little one is only 2 years old, and she wants to live so much!", Asadiya's mum.
Save little Asadiya!
Currently, Ayazhan is gradually working on developing her knee joint. She has achieved a 60% bend, but at least 90% is needed for effective walking. On Monday, Ayazhan was taken to Astana for chemotherapy. The tests sent to South Korea by her treating doctor have returned satisfactory results.
