Aslan is currently in Israel undergoing medical examinations. Let's support this little fighter!

31.01.2025 06:47

He will continue his treatment at the Ikhilov Clinic. Aslan's bone marrow and blood have been analyzed, and he has already undergone an MRI scan. Before determining the next steps in his treatment, the doctors need to conduct a full examination.

Aslan's parents are uncertain about the effectiveness of the previous treatment in Turkey and whether he has achieved remission. They are hopeful that further chemotherapy will not be necessary, allowing them to move directly to the preparation for a bone marrow transplantation (BMT). So far, they have only received pricing information for the transplant and diagnostic tests.

Staying in the hospital is very expensive. The family pays $2,000 a day, which is not included in the total bill. Expenses for medications, MRIs, CT scans, and eye exams are charged separately. Based on the information provided, the attending doctors in Israel generally agree with the treatment protocol from Turkey, although they have some additional recommendations. A full examination will provide more clarity on the situation.

‘Aslan will be seen by multiple doctors here. We have already met the attending physician and the doctor who will perform the bone marrow transplant (BMT). Later, another doctor will be added to monitor Aslan's condition. Here, we are allowed and even required to walk and spend time outdoors, but we cannot visit crowded places or interact with people in general.

Yesterday, we walked in the park, and Aslan enjoyed watching the ducks. We wear masks everywhere we go, but we still feel scared. After spending a long time in the hospital, Aslan now finds joy in the little things. Yesterday, we bought him a balloon, and it brought him immense delight. Now, we are only using antihistamine medication because Aslan has developed a rash on his forehead. Overall, his condition is stable, which is why we are staying at a hotel while waiting for further examinations. We are awaiting test results and the next steps in his treatment plan.

Please help us save our Aslanchik! We are doing everything we can, but we can't manage alone!’.
