Dear friends, today we want to share an update about our ward, Ayazhan! Recently, the cruel effects of sarcoma left her in a wheelchair. However, young Ayazhan did not give in to her situation; she continued her courageous fight against cancer.
Ayazhan is on the road to recovery and hopes to raise funds for a trip to Korea for further treatment. Please consider supporting her!
The support of people who cared about the girl's future has played a crucial role in her fight for life and recovery. Her parents realised that they could not have saved their daughter through their family's efforts alone, and they are sincerely grateful for all the help they received. They are excited to share the first successes of their beloved girl following a challenging orthopaedic surgery.
Currently, Ayazhan is gradually working on developing her knee joint. She has achieved a 60% bend, but at least 90% is needed for effective walking. On Monday, Ayazhan was taken to Astana for chemotherapy. The tests sent to South Korea by her treating doctor have returned satisfactory results.
Ayazhan is using time effectively before a new trip to the Korean clinic. Now she knows the value of life and every day! At school, the girl has improved her grades and closed the gaps in her knowledge, which she got since last year because of her illness. Teachers are working with Ayazhan at home. After so many months of hospitalisation, the girl continues to adapt to home life.
We cannot leave Ayazhan! The family urgently needs funds for her treatment. Thank you for supporting the girl during this difficult time. She is very grateful for your help!
