One by one, the chemotherapy courses are going on... Because of the steroids, the little girl eats until she feels sick. She cries so hard that her whole face swells with tears. Mum cries together with her. Each new unit gets harder. What's in store for them? Without the help of kind hearts, the answer is brutal... Help draw the poor baby into life!
Life has turned upside down. Just six months ago, they were a happy family, and now, far away from their older children in a foreign country where nobody is familiar, trying to save their baby girl... Cancer came into their lives rapidly. ARVI, fever, critical haemoglobin level, bone marrow puncture, acute leukaemia.
The terrible news came on 26 May 2023. After 4 days, having collected all the savings, the family flew to Seoul, and their little girl was hospitalised in Severance Hospital. Here, they clarified the diagnosis of acute lymphoblastic leukaemia and started treatment. The protocol includes 6 stages of chemotherapy, including intrathecal therapy. The family cannot afford to pay the enormous cost of life.
"When I spoke to the parents of the babies who had the same diagnosis, we realised that time was running out. There was almost no hope at home. Our girl's condition was deteriorating hour by hour, and we couldn't risk it! We had seen other children die, and we couldn't sit and wait for this cruel disease to take our little girl!"- Almas, Asadia's dad.
"We are asking for as much help as you can give! It is more important to us than anything else in the world right now to save our daughter! We have two children back home who miss us very much. Our funds will not be enough to pay for treatment. Please help us to save our little girl! She is only 2 years old, she wants to live, be happy and smile!"- Asadiya's mum.
Please help to cure little Asadiya!
Currently, Ayazhan is gradually working on developing her knee joint. She has achieved a 60% bend, but at least 90% is needed for effective walking. On Monday, Ayazhan was taken to Astana for chemotherapy. The tests sent to South Korea by her treating doctor have returned satisfactory results.
