There is no New Year's holiday in oncology treatment, so our little Aylin and her mum met their 2024 in hospital. They had no fun games and no friends or family around. The only entertainment was the Christmas tree in the hospital lobby. The baby loved standing beside it and admiring the Christmas toys in her free time. We hope there will be more Christmas trees in her life.
Aylin is only 2 years old but has already faced big challenges. Cancer has invaded her carefree childhood. The disease that started with a cold turned out to be oncology. The kid had a hard time with the treatment, and she was getting worse every day. Due to intolerance, the principal medication had to be substituted with expensive "Daunorubicin", and frequent examinations were needed, for which the family had no money. Mum appealed to our foundation for help. In the shortest possible time, we raised the necessary funds for Aylin to continue her treatment.
Dear friends, thank you! Thanks to your help Aylin met the New Year with great hope. You created a true miracle for the little girl and gave the family faith in the healing power of kindness and mercy.
We wish Aylin a significant victory over the disease this year. Let all hardships remain in the past year, and only joyful moments and bright colours will be ahead!
Currently, Ayazhan is gradually working on developing her knee joint. She has achieved a 60% bend, but at least 90% is needed for effective walking. On Monday, Ayazhan was taken to Astana for chemotherapy. The tests sent to South Korea by her treating doctor have returned satisfactory results.
