Every day of Sultan's life is painful. Give him life...

25.03.2025 10:00

Sultan's treatment is ongoing, but he is facing increasingly difficult challenges. He is currently undergoing his second round of chemotherapy, and his body is struggling to cope. His test results have deteriorated significantly, and the doctors have prohibited him from leaving his hospital room, as any infection could be life-threatening.

To strengthen his weakened body, the doctors have urgently prescribed two strong antibiotics and a medication to stimulate white blood cell production. Unfortunately, there are additional complications; his hemoglobin levels have dropped to critical values, requiring a blood transfusion. Each day is a battle filled with endless IV drips, injections, bitter medications, and inhalations. He doesn’t have a moment's respite.

Akhmetov Sultan-Akhun
Diagnosis: blood cancer. Acute lymphoblastic leukaemia.
Needed: Treatment followed by BMT in Medicana clinic (Turkey).
The fundraising amount: $10,000

Despite the challenges, Sultan's body is responding to treatment, as confirmed by the puncture following the first round of chemotherapy. However, there is still a long and painful journey ahead.

My husband and I are doing our best to support each other. While he stayed with Sultan in the hospital, I was dealing with questions regarding the birth. A planned cesarean section is scheduled for May 10, but due to heart issues and joint complications, they are still unable to tell me exactly where I will give birth,” says the boy's mother.

Sultan is feeling homesick. He longs to see his sister, but instead, he finds himself in a hospital surrounded by sterile walls, IV drips, and a strict daily routine. He needs a speech therapist, but due to his diagnosis of ZRD (delayed speech development), he is unable to attend therapy sessions. His mother is doing everything she can to help him, working with him in the ward, but their days are tightly scheduled with rounds, medications, drips, and injections.

Sultan continues to face challenges every day, but he refuses to give up. He endures the pain and holds on with all his strength. While his mother tries her best to alleviate his suffering, their family is struggling with limited resources.

We are very thankful to everyone who responds. Your supportive words and attention empower us to keep moving forward. Every type of support—whether moral or material- is important. Even sharing this message can help us navigate this difficult journey more quickly,” his mother expressed her gratitude.

His life is at risk without ongoing treatment. Every dollar contributes to another day of struggle and brings him closer to recovery.
