Sultanchik is receiving his final round of high-dose chemotherapy this week. His lab results have been worsening, necessitating a blood transfusion. Due to low white blood cell and platelet counts, he cannot leave the ward.
The latest analyses indicate that Sultan has entered remission, but this is unstable without a bone marrow transplant, so there's a risk of cancer returning. His parents are in touch with a doctor from a Turkish hospital and are urgently awaiting his arrival.
Sultan will be traveling to Turkey with his father for treatment. Meanwhile, Dilnaz, Sultan's mother, is pregnant, and her due date is tentatively set for May 10.
"I negotiated to fly with Sultan, even if only shortly, because I'm genuinely concerned about my son. He has never been apart from me for long. However, the doctor advised that the baby and I might not handle the flight."
So far, we have only enough funds for tickets and diagnostic tests in Turkey, and we do not have the resources to cover the additional costs. I beg you to help us save our son! Sultanchik is a wonderful child, and he will always be grateful for your kindness, as will we. Please don't let us lose him; we love him so much! However, we cannot save him without your assistance," pleads Dilnaz, Sultan's mother.
We also urge you to please not remain indifferent. The family is facing a very challenging situation
May your homes always be filled with peace, prosperity, good health and the warmth of your family and friends. May this joyful festival fill your hearts with kindness, compassion and gratitude.
