On June 10, 4-year-old Maksat underwent a successful bone marrow transplant. However, he remains in a difficult condition and is currently housed in a sterile environment, much like an aquarium, where he is under continuous medical supervision and receiving intravenous nutrition.
According to his mother, "Maksat has hardly eaten since the chemotherapy; he is supported only through a drip. He is suffering from diarrhoea, high fever, and sleepless nights. He has become withdrawn and irritable, refusing to let his mom out of his sight and barely speaking at all. All he has left as 'toys' are paper cutouts of animals."
Maksat is tired, and it's very challenging for him. However, he is holding on. He still has a long journey ahead to heal, survive, and recover—to laugh, run, and dream again. The Chinese clinic does not allow treatment on credit; the family has already used all their savings to pay for Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). Now, they urgently need funds for further therapy. Without this assistance, Maksat's body may struggle to cope, making the doctors' efforts futile.
Please support Maksat right now! Every donation is a step toward his recovery and a chance to restore a little boy's childhood.
Recently, following another round of intensive treatment, his doctor happily announced that Imran has progressed from stage three to stage two cerebral palsy!
