Omina's life now equals the price of treatment. The poor girl's body can't take it anymore! Every course of chemo hits every organ! When cancer is attacked, the little organism dies with it. That's why we're always talking about time being so short. And that children's lives may not survive the fight against oncology. Omina needs your help today! Her body is already giving up!
Omina Abdukayimova
Diagnosis: Biphenotypic leukaemia (2 types of cancer: AML and ALL).
Needed: Bone marrow transplantation in Emsey Clinic (Turkey)
Collected: $4,609
Needed: 10 200 $
The girl wishes to attend school, but she can no longer go. She is confined to her home, feeling trapped and often crying, while her relatives pray for her recovery. Omina spends her time at home drawing, watching cartoons, and playing with her sister. Omina has to undergo frequent chemotherapy to survive until she can have a bone marrow transplant (BMT), and each round of treatment takes a toll on her body.
Recently, the test results showed no genetic abnormalities, which is fortunate. However, Omina lacks the funds to begin preparing for the transplant. It's a desperate situation.
Omina will not be able to go to school this year. She is undergoing a painful quarantine and is not allowed to be in crowded places where she could easily catch an infection. She wants to go to school so badly that every year she asks, 'Will I go this year?' Her mother patiently explains to her that until she is cured, she will not be able to go anywhere. Now the question is more urgent. Will the girl survive? Please save Omina!
Dina Makarenko actively participated in the event. "I have high hopes that by collaborating with like-minded individuals, we will be more effective in the fight against cancer and will be able to save more children's lives from this terrible, deadly disease.
