We would love to say that Omina's treatment is completed, and she is healthy and has returned home, but we can’t. We are still in the process of fundraising, and it is crucial to proceed with the bone marrow transplant. We urgently need to raise the necessary funds. We rely solely on your support, our kind helpers and friends!
Thanks to your help, Omina was able to receive the chemotherapy medications. Thank you!
At the end of May, the girl's mother, Dilafruz, called us and informed us that the results of the minimal residual disease (MRD) test result came back. Our little girl is in remission, and they are sending her home. However, a few days later, we received another call, and Omina's mum tearfully informed us that a bone marrow transplant was mandatory after the next course of chemotherapy.
A doctor from the Dmitry Rogachev National Research Centre for Bone Marrow Transplantation visited Kyrgyzstan to consult on Omina's case. After examining her, he strongly recommended that she undergo a bone marrow transplant (BMT) immediately after chemotherapy. Omina has been diagnosed with two types of cancer and faces a high risk of recurrence. If a recurrence happens, the chances of achieving remission for a second time are slim. To prevent this, a bone marrow transplant is urgently needed.
Our fundraising efforts are ongoing, and time is of the essence – the clock is ticking. Omina's future is in our hands. Please help her survive.
