Today is the 5th birthday of our beneficiary, Amir. We want to wish him a happy birthday and a childhood full of joy and good health! Unfortunately, in the summer of 2022, Amir was diagnosed with a rare and severe type of leukaemia. The treatment for this type of cancer was not available in our home country, and the cost of treatment in Turkey was prohibitive. When Amir's condition became critical, many compassionate individuals like you stepped in to help. Thanks to your support, Amir can celebrate his birthday today with a smile and hope for the future.
Amir is currently doing well. A month ago, he underwent a medical examination by a doctor from Turkey and received recommendations regarding the necessary vaccinations. The family's financial situation has been affected due to the costly treatment. Amir lives with his grandparents and aunt, as his parents have been working in Russia for the past 6 months.
"He has started talking. Right now, he is sticking to a specific diet. He doesn't eat fried food and avoids strawberries because they give him liquid stools immediately. The other night, he had a nosebleed for two consecutive nights. We took tests to monitor our baby's health because after a serious illness, his body has become sensitive, and other organs have been affected. We are scared for our boy, but overall, everything is good. We are grateful to you and everyone who helped us." - message from Amira's aunt.
Kindness can change the world. We want to express our gratitude to everyone who supports our wards daily. Even the smallest donation is crucial. When many of us come together, huge fundraisings are collected from small amounts, ultimately saving children's lives.
Once again, we congratulate Amir on his birthday. We wish him a life filled with bravery, cheerfulness, and curiosity, along with great happiness, good health, and strength.
Aslan's bone marrow and blood have been analyzed, and he has already undergone an MRI scan. Before determining the next steps in his treatment, the doctors need to conduct a full examination.
