Imran is in a constant struggle with his illness. The boy's mum is doing everything possible to improve her son's condition. All procedures and examinations are too expensive. Aziza gives English lessons to support her and her son. In between providing treatment for her son, she has students come to her home, and then she teaches online until 3 a.m. while Imranchik sleeps.
Until this year, the mum has been able to support her son on her own, but now, she feels time is running out and the hospital bills are increasing. Especially, because she sees continuous improvement in their endeavours. Imran is finally trying to speak and has begun to walk, albeit tentatively.
Help us pay for Imran's treatment!
In May, Imran visited the clinic daily for Therapeutic exercise and physiotherapy. The baby had a daily massage at the Family and Health Centre. Imran lives in this rhythm permanently and it is giving results. The activities do not stop at home. Mum Aziza conducts electrostimulation (the stimulator was donated to Imran by people who care about him).
This week, Imranchik's tests were taken. Now, he is preparing for botulinum therapy (a procedure that helps to reduce muscle tone) in the Cardio Centre. It will be carried out under general anaesthesia, and then for 15 days, the baby will have to stay in bed and wear a plaster cast, and he will not be allowed to stand on his legs. After that, the baby will have to wear orthoses, which kind people also donated. After that, he is expected to be in Ak-Suu for treatment (twice a year, he will undergo physical therapy, procedures in radon pools, and a therapeutic massage course).
Shortly, Imran's treatment plan is as follows: botulinum therapy (Bishkek Cardio Research and Clinical Centre), 12 days in the re-centre in Ak-Suu, Achillesplasty (preliminary in the 3rd children's hospital in Bishkek), neurostimulation. The course of treatment should be completed by a high-tech surgery in Israel, for which there is a catastrophic lack of funds.
Please help Mum to put her son on his feet and help Imranchik to avoid a wheelchair.
Currently, Ayazhan is gradually working on developing her knee joint. She has achieved a 60% bend, but at least 90% is needed for effective walking. On Monday, Ayazhan was taken to Astana for chemotherapy. The tests sent to South Korea by her treating doctor have returned satisfactory results.
