Although doctors had initially scheduled the delivery for April 10, baby Ayla arrived last Thursday, on the 3rd. Elina's mother, Aizada, was constantly monitored by the medical team, who determined that she needed to give birth.
Labour was induced, but Aizada managed to deliver the baby naturally without the need for a caesarean section. Both mother and newborn are doing well; the baby is healthy, and there are no concerns about her health.
We congratulate Aizada and welcome baby Ayla into the world!
We need to hurry. The doctors have already analysed the cord blood, which is rich in stem cells. If they are suitable for a bone marrow transplant, Elina will be prepared for the procedure. The fundraising is still ongoing!
Sometimes it feels like the world is too cruel. A mother of a newborn baby girl is struggling to fully enjoy her happiness because she is fighting for Elina's life right now. So far, only 36% of the necessary funds have been raised. However, as long as people are willing to bring light into someone else's darkness, there is hope. Thank you to everyone who chooses not to look away.
Every day of Elina's life is a fight against cancer. Let's give her a chance at life! Her family cannot cope alone - treatment requires enormous funds.
Recently, following another round of intensive treatment, his doctor happily announced that Imran has progressed from stage three to stage two cerebral palsy!
