When little Akhmet was diagnosed with cancer, his father used a cruel phrase: "Cancer will kill him anyway. Why go back and forth?".

In February 2023, after a bout of flu, Akhmet's body was covered with bruises and his legs began to fail. A test confirmed the terrible diagnosis: Acute lymphoblastic leukaemia, high-risk group. At that time the blast cells were 80%. Six months of treatment, a course of chemo and... relapse! The doctors said that only a bone marrow transplant would save him. His brother Erzhan became the donor. Ahmet had a hard time recovering, and BMT was in debt. But the treatment must be paid for and not interrupted, otherwise, the cancer will take Akhmet away.

Mum brings up her children alone: a girl and two boys. She continues to work from the last strength to support her family and save her child. The next stage of their despair could only be an irreparable loss, the victory of cancer over little exhausted Akhmet.

"I am a mother who has had to face an ordeal which is beyond endurance. So far, I am holding on, but what can I do alone against Cancer, against the betrayal, against the need we are now doomed to, against the death standing outside our house that wants to take my son? I can't do it alone! I can't save my son! It's simply beyond my fragile strength, no matter how much I wish it were! That's why I've enlisted people's help to open fundraising.

We have been through so much and are so close to recovery. Please don't give up on us! We have already been through so much grief! I am afraid that one more ordeal will just break us. Thank you for your generosity and kindness! May the Almighty allow you to help as many people in need as possible! It is our last hope. Don't deprive him of it, I beg you!" - Akhmet's mum.
