We couldn't wait any longer for the fundraising to close. Aizada, Elina's mother, was just two months away from giving birth. It is the umbilical cord blood at birth that could save her daughter from blood cancer.
Elina arrived in Turkey with her parents, despite the risks involved. This was the little girl’s first flight, and while she managed well overall, there were moments of anxiety that made her cry. As soon as they arrived, the family received a warm welcome. The staff greeted them with great friendliness, creating a comfortable atmosphere for everyone, and the food at the clinic was varied and delicious, which is important for maintaining good health.
Most of the tests had already been conducted, and the results alarmed the doctors.
As part of the medical procedures, doctors conduct a blood test for general diagnostic purposes, a genetic test, and a bone marrow test, which is crucial for diagnosis. A stem cell transplant can only be performed if there are no blasts (cancer cells) in the body.
Unfortunately, the test results were not positive. Aizada was about two months away from giving birth when the clinic urgently began chemotherapy to help bring Elina into remission.
The medical bills are piling up, and Elina is battling cancer in her bone marrow. There is no time left for fundraising. Please don’t let this little girl face aggressive leukaemia alone! They cannot do it without your support!
With great joy and gratitude, we are pleased to announce that the fundraising campaign for our little hero Aslan is now closed.
