Fundraising: FUNDRAISING IS CLOSED
Dear friends, thanks to everyone kind and did not pass by, we are closing the fundraising for Amirchik's treatment! It is a great joy that he will now conquer his first peak and become healthy! You are all amazing people with warm hearts. Thank you!
Amir has been battling blood cancer since August 2022. The baby cries a lot and feels a lot of pain and fear... He can't express what hurts him because he doesn't speak yet. This life-saving treatment costs a lot of money! And without you, Amir would have no chance of getting it!
Since the beginning of his illness, the baby has been suffering from nosebleeds, rashes on his body, fever, and crying a lot at night. And he is only three years old. Doctors did not suspect anything terrible and prescribed treatment for acute respiratory viral infections. The baby got better, but a week later, his condition worsened - his fever was not relieved by any medication. The next day, we went to the polyclinic at the place of residence and took a general blood test. According to the test results, the haemoglobin and platelets were very low.
"Bone marrow puncture showed that blast cells were normal. But my son's condition was getting worse every day. He was diagnosed with immune thrombocytopenia. Another punch revealed growing blast cells, which meant that he had leukaemia. The baby was transferred to the oncology department, where he received 2 courses of chemotherapy. After another MRI scan, doctors said the cancer cells had spread to his right kidney and liver.
"A severe and rare type of leukaemia, no child in Kyrgyzstan has ever survived with it..." - the doctors' words cut the family's life in half.
The family was told to seek treatment abroad. Only a bone marrow transplant could save the boy. They don't do it at home. The Turkish clinic Medical Park responded to the cry for help. But the cost of treatment was enormous! The parents had to sell their property to start saving their son. They had no time. Aggressive cancer continued to oppress the child - the baby was fading before their eyes.
"There are no words to express the horror we felt at that moment. And there are no words to express our gratitude for the fact that you did not abandon us in this trouble!", - Kenzhe, Amir's mum.
Thank you, kind people! May your kindness return to you many times over!
Cancer prevents little Amir from talking!
