Drawing of the Day: Danis Khamidov paints in the hospital

24.04.2024 05:36

A true spring has come to our beneficiary's heart: birch trees have blossomed, the forest is green, the bird chorus is singing and the river is flowing. Assistance cars, and emergency vehicles, including fire, ambulance and others, rush to urgent good deeds, and only he sits among the four walls struggling with a serious illness. For this boy, the real spring will come when the disease recedes.

He doesn't know about his terrible diagnosis - only that he has a lump that needs to be cured. And he has endured so much pain in his life! The disease showed itself in kindergarten when the boy was 4. He underwent a 10-hour surgery which he barely survived. He lost 3.5 litres of blood and was white as a sheet. When he woke up, he was calling for help from his mum and dad. And survived by a miracle. He was denied a bone marrow transplant in his home country, also in India, and there is no money for BMT in Turkey.

Recently, he underwent surgery and stem cells were taken from his bone under anaesthesia. Just before the chemotherapy course was over, he started radiation therapy. He will receive it in the amount of 15 sessions of 5 procedures. During the breaks, he will have to endure new portions of chemopreparations to take control of the development of the disease and rid the boy of metastases. Only then will the path to TCM open up for him, which will help save his life. But this will not happen unless kind people help to raise funds for this treatment. You probably already know who we're talking about - it's Danis! Let's help this patient boy get a ticket to a better life. He needs our support and positive experiences after all the grief he's been through. By showing him the beauty of the world, we can help him move past his tragedies and embrace a brighter future.

Let's unite and support this talented boy together!"
